The WRITE Workshop offers the following editorial services to undergraduate and graduate writers:
- Proofreading
- Line editing
- Substantive and content editing
- Stylistic editing
- Flow and function editing
- Project design help
- Recommendations for development (deepening and supporting your argument, making creative correlations, etc.)
All types of academic writing require the technical knowledge of the author, but also need the writing knowledge of a professional. Do not let your technical knowledge be masked by poor writing or errors. We can ensure that this does not happen, while checking the document for grammar, form, flow, consistency, transitions, style and argument development.
Proofreading and editing can be carried out in either US English or Oxford English. In addition, we can comply with APA, Chicago and MLA styles of writing. If you need your document to be edited in a specific form, please notify us with the submission of your document.
We adhere to the guidelines set out for ethical editing of English-language theses at the doctoral level. The Editors' Association of Canada has developed these guidelines to aid its members and others in the editing of doctoral theses. The guidelines can be found at www.editors.ca.
